S60X6 Female Swivel × 1″ (25mm) Hose Tail - GF Polypropylene - CPP®

Connect an IBC tank with an S60X6 male outlet to a hose with a 1″ (25mm) internal diameter. This CPP® adaptor provides a direct connection for dispensing water and other compatible liquids.

The swivel nut allows the adaptor to be tightened onto the IBC outlet without turning the connected hose. Manufactured in the UK from black glass-filled polypropylene, it comes complete with a polypropylene-based olefin elastomer seal.

IBC compatibility

Fits standard S60X6 male IBC outlets, including SCHÜTZ S60X6 outlets. Suitable for selected WERIT, MAUSER, Mamor and Sotralentz tanks when fitted with a matching S60X6 male outlet and suitable sealing face.

Check the actual outlet before ordering, as connections vary between models and replacement valves.

CPP® also offers the dedicated SCHÜTZ-compatible version, HFUS21T028. Its thread profile differs and may not fit standard S60X6 outlets.

Thread specification

S60X6 female buttress, manufactured to the applicable thread dimensions and tolerances of BS EN 12713.

Working pressure and testing

Maximum working pressure for IBC applications: 1 bar (approximately 15 psi) at 20°C.

Pressure testing: Tested to 60 psi (approximately 4.1 bar).

These pressures apply to the adaptor only. Follow the IBC tank and valve manufacturer’s operating limits; the adaptor rating does not authorise pressurising the IBC.

Installation Notes

1. Ensure the IBC outlet thread and sealing face are clean and undamaged, and the supplied gasket is correctly seated.
2. Hand-tighten the S60X6 swivel nut until the gasket sits firmly against the IBC valve outlet.
3. Using a suitable wrench or strap wrench on the nut, tighten a further 30° minimum to 60° maximum.
4. Fit the hose securely onto the hose tail and fasten with a suitable hose clamp. Support the hose to reduce strain on the adaptor.

Avoid overtightening, which can damage the threads, distort the gasket or cause leakage. Release pressure before disconnecting.
