URT (Urban Round Thread) Lugged Couplings

CPP® URT (Urban Round Thread) lugged couplings in straight natural polypropylene for suction, waste-handling and industrial liquid-transfer applications.

URT is a coarse round-thread connection used in the UK and based on traditional fire-hose suction coupling patterns. Similar round-thread systems have been used by different manufacturers, so nominal size alone does not always guarantee interchangeability.

Compatibility: Check the mating thread form and dimensions before ordering. This is particularly important with 4″ round-thread fittings, where compatibility can vary between manufacturers.

The range includes female and male hose-tail couplings, dust caps, dust plugs and BSPP/URT conversion adaptors. Female couplings use PP elastomer sealing gaskets.
