Scope

This statement applies to standard polymer components manufactured by CPP-LM Ltd under the CPP® brand, including polypropylene, glass-filled polypropylene, polyethylene and CPP-manufactured polypropylene-based elastomer sealing components, according to the material specified for the particular part.

Bought-in products and components are excluded. This includes PVC hose, FKM/Viton O-rings and other items manufactured by third parties, even where supplied or assembled with a CPP-manufactured component. This statement applies only to the CPP-manufactured components and does not establish the status of a complete assembly containing excluded items.

Material Statement

To the best of our knowledge, based on CPP's current material specifications and available supplier information, the CPP-manufactured components within this scope are not manufactured using Bisphenol A (BPA) or BPA-based polycarbonate materials.

BPA, other bisphenols and bisphenol derivatives are not intentionally added by CPP during manufacture of these components. Based on the materials currently specified, CPP does not intentionally use BPA-based epoxy resins, BPA-based polycarbonate or other bisphenol-based materials in these components.

This is a qualified statement based on material specifications, manufacturing knowledge and supplier information. It is not a guarantee of analytically verified zero content. Relevant supplier declarations retain their own scope, dates, limitations and conditions of use.

Food-Contact Applications

This statement is provided in relation to Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/3190 concerning the use of BPA and other bisphenols and bisphenol derivatives in certain materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

For food-contact applications, suitability must be confirmed against the specific component, material grade, sealing material, food or liquid, temperature, contact time and end-use conditions. This statement does not replace a product-specific food-contact Declaration of Compliance where required.
