Invented by CPP®, this two-shell Camlock conversion system converts a suitable 2″ Camlock outlet into a permanent S60X6 male buttress thread connection without using a conventional lever-arm Camlock coupling.

How the CPP® converter shells work

The two shells clamp around the existing Camlock outlet, forming an S75X6 male buttress thread. The matching conversion adaptor then screws onto this thread to provide the final outlet connection.

The S75X6 thread forms part of the conversion assembly. On this product, the final connection is S60X6 male buttress thread. Designed for installations where a permanent outlet conversion is preferred to a quick-release Camlock connection.

Connections and materials

  • Inlet: converter shells for a suitable 2″ Camlock outlet.
  • Intermediate connection: S75X6 male buttress thread formed by the two shells.
  • Final outlet: S60X6 male buttress thread.
  • Material: glass-filled polypropylene (GFPP).
  • Seal: supplied.

S60X6 male buttress thread: nominal 60 mm diameter with 6 mm pitch. Connect to a matching S60X6 female fitting with a suitable seal.

Working pressure and testing

  • Working pressure: 1 bar (approximately 15 psi) at 20°C.
  • Pressure tested to: 60 psi (approximately 4.1 bar).

The working pressure applies to the converter assembly. Follow the limits of the IBC tank, valve and all connected components; this rating does not authorise pressurising an IBC tank.
