Part DP

CPP® Type DP (Part DP) Camlock dust plugs fit into matching female Camlock couplers to protect disconnected connections from dust, dirt and debris during storage, transport and handling.

Connection standards

• Camlock: matching-size female Camlock couplers manufactured to EN 14420-7 or U.S. specification A-A-59326
• Thread: none — Type DP is a male Camlock closure

Construction

• Body: black glass-filled polypropylene (GFPP)
• Cam arms and gasket: carried by the mating female Camlock coupler

Use and handling

Dust plugs are intended to protect a disconnected Camlock connection. They should be used on a depressurised system and should not be treated as pressure-retaining end closures. Release system pressure before removing a dust plug.

Select the plug by the nominal Camlock head size and check the mating dimensions where required.
