CPP® adaptor for connecting a Schütz-compatible S60X6 male IBC valve outlet to a RD65 male (DIN 11851).
This adaptor uses the Schütz-specific S60X6 female thread form. Schütz S60X6 valve outlets have their own thread specification, so a Schütz-specific female adaptor may not fit a standard S60X6 male outlet.
Compatibility: CPP® standard S60X6 female adaptors are designed to fit both standard S60X6 male outlets and Schütz IBC valve outlets. Choose this Schütz-specific version only when that dedicated thread form is required.

Choosing between standard and Schütz-specific S60X6
For the widest compatibility, use the corresponding CPP® standard S60X6 adaptor, which fits both standard S60X6 male outlets and Schütz IBC valve outlets. Use this Schütz-specific adaptor when you specifically require the Schütz female thread form.
If the IBC has been reconditioned, check the valve currently fitted rather than relying on the tank brand alone.
Installation and use
Make sure the thread and sealing face are clean and undamaged and that the gasket is seated correctly. Start the adaptor by hand to avoid cross-threading and do not overtighten the polypropylene connection. Support attached hose or pipework so its weight is not carried by the IBC valve.
An IBC is not a pressure vessel. Always follow the operating limits of the tank, valve and connected equipment; the complete assembly is limited by its lowest-rated component.
