URT means Urban Round Thread. It is a coarse round-thread connection used in the UK and based on traditional fire-hose suction coupling patterns. Similar round-thread systems have been used by different manufacturers, so nominal size alone does not always guarantee interchangeability.
Compatibility: Check the mating thread form and dimensions before ordering. This is particularly important when matching older suction couplings and 4″ round-thread fittings, where compatibility can vary between manufacturers.
