IBC and Drum Adaptor – 2″ NPS Female Easy-Seal to 1½″ Camlock Type A – Glass-Filled Polypropylene – CPP®

Convert a container, drum or IBC outlet with a 2″ NPS male thread to a 1½″ Camlock connection quickly and securely with this heavy-duty CPP® adaptor.

Designed for industrial liquid transfer, the adaptor screws onto a 2″ NPS male threaded outlet and provides a 1.5″ Camlock Part A male spigot for connection to standard female Camlock couplers.

The CPP® Easy-Seal design uses a face-sealing gasket to provide a reliable connection without relying solely on the threaded joint to create the seal.

Chemical compatibility should always be confirmed for the specific liquid, concentration, temperature and operating conditions.

Installation Notes

Ensure the 2″ NPS male thread, sealing face and adaptor gasket are clean and free from dirt, damage and debris before installation.

1. Check that the sealing gasket is correctly positioned inside the adaptor.
2. Screw the adaptor onto the 2″ NPS male thread by hand until the gasket contacts the sealing face.
3. From the point of gasket contact, tighten the adaptor by a minimum of 80° and a maximum of 160°.
4. Where necessary, use a suitable strap wrench to achieve the required rotation.

2″ NPS tightening range:

• Minimum rotation after gasket contact: 80°
• Maximum rotation after gasket contact: 160°

Do not tighten beyond 160°. Excessive tightening may damage the thread, distort the gasket or cause leakage.

The connection should be pressure- and leak-tested under the actual operating conditions before being placed into service.
